It is now almost certain that Fluminense’s players will be highly valued until at least mid-year, when the European football summer transfer window opens. This is especially true for André and Jhon Arias, who are the most sought after by clubs abroad.
The main winter transfer windows in Europe closed earlier this year, and the last, which was most worrisome, was the Turkish window, which closed on February 9th. Only two windows remain open, those of Russia and Ukraine, two countries involved in a military conflict, until February 22nd and March 12th, respectively.
It is worth remembering that Jhon Arias received offers from two Russian clubs, Zenit and Krasnodar. However, both were rejected by Fluminense, as the values offered were considered low, and the club chose to keep the player. Check out the dates:
