Fluminense will face Boavista on Sunday in Bacaxá, in a match valid for the sixth round of the Campeonato Carioca. For this game, Fernando Diniz will rest the starters who faced Bangu and the team is expected to have some new additions. One of them is in goal: Felipe Alves.

Hired to be the immediate backup for Fábio, the experienced goalkeeper is set to make his debut for the Tricolor. He hasn’t played in an official match since the end of 2022, when he was still defending Fortaleza. In 2023, at São Paulo, he was a reserve throughout the year and didn’t step on the field.
