The group managed by American entrepreneur John Textor, owner of SAF do Botafogo, has expressed interest in signing André, the midfielder from Fluminense. According to the French newspaper L’Equipé, Lyon is considering the possibility of acquiring the Tricolor midfielder.
The French club is currently assessing a proposal, but the initial evaluation shows that the requested amount by Fluminense is considered challenging to achieve.
Fluminense is demanding around 30 million euros (approximately R$ 161 million). In addition to André, Lyon is also evaluating other players for the same position, such as Serbian Nemanja Matic from Stade Rennais (FRA) and Smail Yuksek from Fenerbahçe (TUR).
Being a product of Xerém, the 22-year-old midfielder has attracted interest from several European clubs. Teams from England, like Fulham and Liverpool, have already shown their interest. Recently, it was revealed that Atlético de Madrid (ESP) is also keeping an eye on him.
