1 fevereiro 14:52 Fluminense to Receive Up to R$ 19 Million for Luiz Henrique Transfer

Fluminense’s young talent, Luiz Henrique, is on the verge of joining Botafogo, after being acquired by the Eagle group, led by American businessman John Textor, who owns SAF alvinegra. This transfer could see Fluminense pocket up to R$ 19 million, covering 91% of their transfer window expenses for the current season, as reported by ge website.

So far, Fluminense has made several signings during this transfer window, including goalkeeper Felipe Alves, defender Antonio Carlos, midfielder Gabriel Pires, Renato Augusto, midfielder-attacker David Terans, and forward Douglas Costa. The majority of these players were available on a free transfer, with the exception of Uruguayan player Terans, whose economic rights were acquired.

As a result, Fluminense has spent R$ 20.8 million during this transfer window. And with the expected R$ 16 million from the sale of Luiz Henrique, they would have covered 76% of their expenses. However, if the young forward fulfills certain contractual targets, the amount could increase to R$ 19 million, covering 91% of Fluminense’s transfer window budget.

Botafogo’s SAF will pay a fixed fee of 16 million euros for the transfer of Luiz Henrique from Real Betis, along with an additional 4 million euros in bonuses and performance-related payments. In Brazilian Real, the total amounts to R$ 107 million. Take a look at the breakdown of the payments that Fluminense will receive:

— Approximately R$ 12.88 million for 15% of the transfer fee;

— Approximately R$ 3 million through the solidarity mechanism;

— Approximately R$ 3.2 million if the contractual targets are met.
