The upcoming transfer of Luiz Henrique to Botafogo from Betis (ESP) will bring a significant amount of money to Fluminense. A recent report by ge website revealed the exact sum that the Tricolor, as the player’s former club, will receive from this transaction.
When Fluminense acquired Luiz Henrique from Betis, they retained 15% of his economic rights. The transfer to Botafogo will be a fixed amount of 16 million euros (approximately 85.7 million Brazilian reais) plus 4 million euros (around 21.4 million reais) in goals and bonuses.
Consequently, Fluminense will be entitled to receive 2.4 million euros (approximately 12.88 million reais) for their 15% share of Luiz Henrique. Additionally, as the player’s training club, where he spent from the age of 11 to 21, they will receive an additional 560 thousand euros (around 3 million reais) through FIFA’s Solidarity Mechanism.
Since the negotiation still includes goals and bonuses, Fluminense could earn an extra 600 thousand euros (approximately 3.2 million reais). Therefore, the Tricolor will be entitled to nearly 16 million reais and if the goals are achieved, this amount will increase to over 19 million reais.
Luiz Henrique agreed to move to Botafogo with the assurance that he will be transferred to Lyon (FRA), which is part of the Eagle group owned by American entrepreneur John Textor, the owner of SAF Alvinegra.
