Fluminense forward Lelê has made the most of the opportunities he had at the beginning of the Campeonato Carioca. With five goals so far, he started the season as Fluminense’s top scorer, but has since been relegated to the bench as coach Fernando Diniz decided to rotate the squad. However, Lelê remains calm and praises the strength of the team.
According to Lelê, coach Fernando Diniz has a strong squad and whoever steps onto the field is capable of delivering positive results.
«We have excellent players. It’s a good headache for Diniz. I think he sees it that way too. He decides during training sessions and matches. Whoever is performing better gets to play, and thankfully, the team is well-prepared. Whoever he puts on the field will deliver results,» he said in an interview with FluTV.
