The 2024 season has started well for Fluminense, and so has young forward Isaac, who has scored two goals in four games. In an interview with GE, the Laranjeiras club’s promising striker talked about what it’s like to play alongside high-level players on a daily basis.
«First of all, I can’t even believe that I’m experiencing this with these guys because I used to play with them on video games. It’s a dream come true to play with one of my idols, one of my references in football, Marcelo. Marcelo helps me a lot, he helped me a great deal last year,» he said, continuing:
«Renato Augusto, who just arrived, is incredibly talented. Even during warm-ups, he calls me right away, ‘come on, my goal-getter,’ to play in the small goals. I’m so happy to share those moments with him, to have conversations in training when I arrive. He helps me a lot, gives me a lot of advice… Ganso, Felipe Melo, they are my idols. I will always cherish this time I’m living at Fluminense,» he concluded.
