Fluminense’s goalkeeper Felipe Alves, one of the new signings for this season, recently talked about the different types of leadership within the team. During a press conference held at the Carlos Castilho Training Center last Tuesday (6), the goalkeeper emphasized that everyone on the team has the potential to be a leader and that leadership can manifest in various ways.
Alves stated, ‘Some players are more vocal and expressive, while others have a calmer approach. Each player has the ability to be the coach of the team at some point and understand the dynamics of each position.’
He also mentioned the importance of communication and understanding individual preferences on the field to create a strong bond and achieve success as a team. ‘By understanding each other’s individuality and preferences, we can reflect that synergy on the field and help the team to be competitive,’ Alves concluded.
