News broke on Monday that The Players Transfer revealed Arsenal’s interest in signing Fluminense’s talented striker Evanilson, who is currently playing for Porto.
However, according to reporter Caio Blois from Trivela, it appears that Evanilson will not be on the move during this transfer window. Porto intends to listen to potential suitors only at the end of the European season in July.
It is worth noting that Fluminense still holds a 6% stake in the striker’s economic rights, which would entitle them to a percentage of any future transfer fee if Porto were to sell him. Additionally, there will be a solidarity mechanism fee imposed by FIFA for Evanilson’s former clubs.
